It’s hard to see your faults. That’s why criticism can be a blessing. When you let it in, it helps you improve, become better, and see your blind spots.

Seek out several people in your life, not just friends, but people you are in conflict with, and ask them what they think you need to change. And be open to the criticisms of people you don’t even know. They’re often the most accurate.

keep on pluggin!

So many of the illogical blessings in our life are the result of effort injected somewhere else. We invest in one relationship that seems to go nowhere, only for the next to be ‘magical’. We work tirelessly on a project that bears no fruit, only to have another project materialize ‘suddenly’ in our laps.

But there’s no suddenly. That magic comes from the effort and energy invested elsewhere.

Give your best. Know that you might not see results where you’re expecting them. Know that most of the time there’s a process. It doesn’t happen overnight or how you plan or think. But the energy is never lost, so keep plugging away.
