In Gratitude ~ Vegetables don't lie ...

Vegetables don't lie ...

Yesterday Was The Farmer’s Market on State Street. I’m in this mode of ALL ORGANIC NO GMO FOOD kick, Right? Funny because my Mom, My great Mom, Raised me so healthy and I am so grateful because now that I have been more educated on what has been going on with our food supply … I've realized Just HOW MUCH I’ve poisoned myself in the last 13 years I’ve been away from my mother’s organic kitchen.

I am so grateful for real vegetables. I’ve been eating 21 layer salads. It kicks my ass but I love it. I could eat that salad forever … I’d know that I was least getting full doses of real food. It feels so good to eat even though it can also tear you apart inside with its potency. It’s good to mix it with something … like a tortilla. It’s good in everything.

Now I go to the grocery store and everything I see is just inedible. I can’t think about poisoning my body any more… I felt bad for my body so I decided to steer my diet towards cleaner living and now I feel great and radiant. Salad makes you GLOW.

In Gratitude - It’s the First, A Tuesday.

It’s the First, A Tuesday. No wait, it’s the 31st because August has 31 days … ever wonder how they figured out the calendar or time? Adding days here and there … what is time? … 24 hours in a day? … they sayhow did they come up with that ?
If we had no clocks how would we know what time it was?
Would we live in the flow of natural time?

I do my very best to live time in the present … the future is what I make of it.

I don’t know what to tomorrow will bring. I could strike it lucky! Wait … I am lucky just being in great health, happy, and living with open arms, eating So healthy, going with the flow of abundance … I am abundant, I create. Every Single Day.

I think about How lucky we really are …
How much time have we spent complaining?
How much time have we spent appreciating?
How much time have we spent forgiving?
How much time have we spent giving?
How much time have we spent receiving?

Take a moment…
Close your eyes,
breathe deep,
and SMILE.
How does that feel?

The sensation of a smile … it’s not a matter of how long it takes to make you feel better, it just does.

The Smile ChallengeI urge you to take it….

The More you Smile at People;
The Friendlier your Day is, Guaranteed.

Walk down the street saying Love with every step (either mouth it out loud if no one is around, or quiet in your head if there is). Be mindful of how your body moves. It’s a miracle, if you pay attention.

This is one example of an affirmation I say, but you can say anything as long as it’s positive…

Read the article I posted about how water absorbs the energy and thoughts of you and those around you … You are made of water. So what I say is “Please heal my body, I love my body, please heal my body, I love my body”. I know that it may sound silly but if you realize that you are healing your body through your positive thought and focus on loving yourself. Take the time to always improve, work hard on expanding your mind.

You can find peace.

Santa Barbara Courthouse

Today, I wandered around town, and happened to find the Santa Barbara Courthouse ... I started to explore the amazing old building that used to be a fortress where many battles had been defended, land protected, and the leaders crafty with their methods of tricking the enemy. The art on the walls, the building's ornate detail, and the vast array of lanterns left a deep impression of inspiration. I really enjoyed listening to the docent as he told it's history. It is a truly magnificent building and it's history is very interesting. My favorite part was the view at the top of the clock.

I also got to go into the courtroom and some people chose to sit in the judge's chair to snap a picture. We went into the law library. He mentioned no one reads these books, they are just for show. Then I realized that books were beginning to be be something of the past.  The information is all data based on the computer now. It's amazing how fast our society and technology grows. It's just yesterday we were using the Dewey Decimal system.
